Andrew has extensive experience in valuing contemporary art collections including works by Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, Gary Hume, David Hockney and Peter Doig. Collections appraised have also included leading Modern Artists such as Picasso, Matisse, Cezanne, Magritte, Francis Bacon, Lucien Freud, Andy Warhol and the sculptors Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth and Giacometti.
Andrew is often asked to confirm authenticity and check and research provenance. Valuations in this area are carried out for all purposes including insurance, willing buyer / willing seller, tax planning, inheritance tax as well as providing appraisals for use in assessing collateral.

In an increasingly burgeoning art market our skill is in assessing not only artists major works but also in correctly appraising prints, maquettes and preliminary sketches which are becoming increasingly important as the cost of major works arises apace.
All work is carried out on an hourly / daily rate and fees are competitive. Inventories are supplied with thumbnail images.
